The San Lorenzo Valley Historical Society (SLVHS), which owns and operates the San Lorenzo Valley Museum, Boulder Creek, CA, seeks an experienced cataloguer. This is a one time, 100 hour project position that is grant funded.
Responsibilities include:
• Cataloguing photographs in the Museum’s Fredda Carlisle Carr Collection using the PastPerfect database.
• Creating metadata for each individual record following California Revealed’s Metadata Guidelines.
• Following best practices for retrieving, handling, digitization, and housing archival materials.
